How much weight will this remove from my motorcycle?
Replacing an OEM part or complete exhaust system will usually result in reducing the overall weight of your motorcycle. How much, depends on a a number of factors, including whether or not you are replacing a complete system and the type of system you are replacing i.e. 4 into 1 or 4 into 2.

what is the decibel rating for a 2009 honda vfr 800, are there any "spuds" or silencer options
I don’t have a dB number for you, but it’s not overly loud. Two Brothers do make silencer inserts and even with the inserts in you still get the nice rumble from the V4. I only use my inserts when I’m touring because I tend to wake up stupid-early to start riding and don’t want to risk waking people up.
