Description
Many municipalities and tracks have begun to implement new, tougher regulations that limit the sound output of street bikes, offroad cycles and ATVs. Two Brothers Racing has developed a series of highly effective sound reducing tips which can help you be compliant.
Two Bros' P1X PowerTip sound suppressor is a recommended accessory for our exhaust systems with M or S1R series endcaps. A straight-through sound diffuser, the TBR PowerTip quiets the pipe about 7-8 dB with no significant reduction in horsepower. May be used with a spark arrester screen.
Easy to install - simply unbolt your existing M or S1R series endcap, drop in the P1X and reassemble.
P1 PowerTip also available for 3-4 dB of sound suppression.

The 2brother exhaust for decent people
I have to say it made my exhaust on the sv650 vtwin a TON more bearable and less obnoxious. The sound is different (the 16 yearold on me definitely misses it), less throaty, no longer spitting flames, but at least you'll know that your neightbors are no longer plotting to have your bike disappear one night and cops are less interested in you.
Worth the investment for those who didn't realise just how loud these exhausts can get. Would definitely remove it for track days.

I can ride in my neighborhood now
This does suppress the sound a bit or I should say enough so that you are not frown upon but still be heard. As all reviews this item does change colors, so be aware.

Suppresses Sound
Pro: It definitely suppresses the sound enough to make it bearable to ride in the city without being hassled by the cops.
Con: loses the black finish first ride out.

Significant noise reduction
The sheer obnoxious volume of the Two Brothers M2 exhaust installed as delivered on my FJR1300 rendered the bike unusable... The cacophony of pops and farts upon deceleration was embarrassing and annoying, and the incessant drone at cruising speeds was like a power drill to the head. Might as well have been straight pipes. Ordered these P1-X suppressors as a Hail Mary before ripping the new exhaust off with extreme prejudice. Quite frankly it’s simply amazing that these little units could make such a difference. Overall the bike is still a couple decibels too loud but the suppressors make it at least livable. I wish they made one more step up to be just a bit less drony but all in all I wouldn’t go back to stock pipes now that I installed the P1-X suppressors.

Took away the drone
Bought this to quiet down my Two Bros muffler as I chopped my muffler down a bit and it became quite a bit louder. Worked like a charm, took away the drone of the exhaust and made it sounds much crisper. Install is easy as pie, 2 mins and she was in. Only downside, as others have mentioned, the black tip turns a brown color after not long.

I have the M2 exhaust ( Black series ). Will the powertip work in conjunction with the spark arrestor insert ?
Yes, this item may be used in conjunction with your spark arrestor screen.

Will the P1-x silencer fit my Polaris slingshot with a 1320 V2 Performance Exhaust with Adjustable Silencer. This exaust is still too load & doesn't good at highway speed. Or you do have another product that would help?
As long as its a 2 brothers pipe , the p1-x reducer will fit , unscrew the 6 bolts on your pipe , pop in the p1-x reducer and your good to go , I never used the rubber seal ring or the tube of sealer stuff that came with the tip , the seal will just burn anyways , and break
