Rated 5 out of 5 by from UltraGard Touring Luggage Rack Bag I had a few questions about this Bag regarding the size of the compartments, talked to customer service and they were very helpful, I then order it on line and it arrived within 10 days. Very pleased with the construction, and of course the helpful and pleasant staff.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 100% on the bag...50% on the mounting I bought this a few months ago and initially I was very impressed by the bag, its size and shape, compartments and the rain cover. I was not impressed by the FRONT mounting straps. They were flimsy, small velcro straps that did not seem to be beefy enough to hold a loaded bag in place on the factory luggage rack and the velcro tore up my Canadian flag mounted on my antenna beside the bag. The second set of straps sewn onto the bag on the sides at the back were just fine. I took the bag to a tailoring shop and had them sew on longer heavier nylon straps over top of the original ones, they also sewed in some additional gussets on the main mounting points. I added adjustable snap in fasteners on the ends of those straps and now I have a really bulletproof bag that mounts very securely that I am very happy with. I just completed a 6600km ride with this bag through all kinds of weather including some torrential rains and am very happy with my purchase of this bag

Checking Size : Ad says 3320 cubic inches , my math says 1700 cu in for the main bag. Is the write-up wrong ? My tail rack is rather narrow, would this fit reasonably well on my passenger seat ? BMW K1200 Touring.

Asked by: Kevin
The side pockets are expandable, that gives quite a lot for small things. I have a large rack on my KLR650 (Cyclerack, 18" wide and 11" long) and it fits nicely without overlapping on the seat. For fixing the bag over the passenger seat, the key is how you can secure the 2 velcros and 2 straps at the bottom edge: I found out a successful review for a Yamaha Venture with a driver's back rest, this could help.

Would this bag fit on a sissybar rack, wrapping around the backrest?

Asked by: Boomer
It's made to sit on a luggage rack but I'm sure you could adapt it to a sissy bar and fender rack also
