Description
Unior's Crank Saver Kit is an all-in-one solution for salvaging otherwise damaged crank arms. The kit includes reaming pedal taps, a tap handle, and pedal thread inserts all organized nicely in a steel case and Unior's exclusive SOS foam cut-outs. All-in-all, a truly innovative thread repair kit.
First use reaming taps and create oversized 5/8" × 24 TPI threads in the crank arms. Thoroughly clean the threads, then apply thread locker to the insert and install it into the crank arm. Finally, thread the pedal into the insert.
