Perfect fit and nice sound
Bought the pipes to replace the boring factory pipes. Glad that I did. Easy install, took about an hour or so to remove old pipes and install new ones. They fit perfectly. They are a bit on the noisy side but that doesn't bother me compared with the sappy sound of the original pipes.

Well packaged and a breeze to put on. This was my first upgrade on my '16 Denim Blk Bob (FXDB).
These pipes n shields cleaned up the look, added power, and shed an Easy 20lbs or more!
Loud when you crack it, but quiet enough when you ride a gear up-past the boys in blue to avoid attention. ;)
Great addition.
Shipping to West Coast could be quicker. ;)

V&H Shorts Shots Staggered Pipes!!!
I bought these pipes for my 2009 Harley Davidson Fat Bob about a month ago. Shipping was fast, customer service was very good (placed order over the phone). The price of these pipes on this website was the best around by far, as much as $200 cheaper. It took me about 2 hours to uninstall and install my old and new pipes. From the first crack of the throttle I was overwhelmed with delight, they sound so mean and aggressive. I would absolutely recommend these pipes to anyone who wants to make their bike scream. I love them and will put them on whatever bikes I purchase in the future.

Awesome sound awesome look
Easy to Install. Vance and hines provide excellent instructions with the pipes. I would recommend purchasing these pipes with quiet baffles.

I have a 1998 Dynal lowrider The picture of the pipes show in black but it only comes in chrome. Is it made in black or only chrome?
This item is made in black and chrome, but may only be available in one color for particular models. If you enter the year, make and model of your vehicle on the product page, you will be able to view the available options for your specific bike.

Is there a need for stock exhaust bracket with this system, or is there one supplied in the kit?
There is a smaller and lighter bracket supplied with pipes. Install was great.

i have a 2001 heritage deluxe, fuel injected , do i need a fuel management system to use these pipes and if so which do you recommend ?
Yes, there is a Oxygen sensor plug kit required when used on 1986-2006 models. Vance & Hines part number for that sensor is 16925.

For a 2015 750 Honda shadow phantom, having installed short shots, would it require anything else? Calibration? Jet kit?
Full exhaust systems will almost always require an air-fuel adjustment. To get the best performance out of your bike, we would always recommend tuning your air-fuel mixture after an exhaust modification. Even if it isn't mandatory, a jet kit or fuel controller will always be beneficial. You can contact the manufacturer directly to see what they would recommend for your specific application

I would like to know if I can use it without tuning the bike with vance and Hines tuner?
A tuner is recommended, installing without could cause performance issues.

Looking at these pipes for my 09 Yamaha 650 V Star, but in the options for pipes they only give have for California Models. Will they not fit my Canadian model? What's the difference?

Can you buy the short shots with the quiet baffles already installed, instead of the loud baffles?
Unfortunately, we do not offer any modifications on the products. The quiet baffle would have to be purchased separately.

The Vance and Hines Shortshots Staggered is only available in Chrome for the 94 Dyna.
