VO2 Falcon Air Cleaner needs real improvements
I bought this air cleaner and i was examining it after the reception and i immediately noticed some issues .
First issue, V&H do not provides gasket to put between the 90º tube flange and the back plate. With only 3 Allen screw retaining the flange against the face of the back plate, without gasket, air, dust and water can easily seep through there.
Second issue i saw was that the flange is weld with the 90º pipe with only 3 welds...In between these 3 welds, nothing is sealing the joint between the flange and the pipe. Again, air, dust and water can easily seep through there directly into the carburetor.
For me those issues are major and unacceptable.
This air cleaner is overrated and is way too expensive for the quality obtained.
Nothing but a show-off.

Looks good but leaks oil
Great looking intake and filter , only issue I have is they don’t supply a gasket to go between the carbon fibre 90 and the mounting plate and any oil that gets blown out the heads into the intake leaks out and ends up all over my leg and saddle bag. A simple $2 gasket will solve this issue but the manufacturer doesn’t see this as a problem so they don’t supply one , I ended up making my own gasket.
