Skeptical at first but very pleased
I recently went from stock Bontrager tires on a Trek Al4 to Conti GP500 28mm and latex tubes. I read in some reviews that the ride is smoother on latex tubes. I was somewhat skeptical but absolutely floored at how true that statement is. In my experience I went from 32 mm 70 psi to 28 mm 85 psi tires and the ride is definitely smoother. The best way for to describe it is the chatter, I feel like the chatter I felt going over small bumps and rough pavement is gone.
