Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good rear sets that are priced competitively I have these on my R6 race bike. Robust design, easy to adjust, and good footpeg grip.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great mod BUT..... Shout out to FortNine for amazing service and shipping as always! As for the rearsets..... I bought these for a 2010 GSXR 1000. What I didn't know was that Vortex components are design for STOCK bikes. Not bikes that already have any sort of mods. I'm 6'2" so these rearsets did not fit with my R77 full system. After installing I had to have my exhaust custom fabricated to work. After all of the headaches, yes I'm happy BUT it was after a lot of expenses that I didn't account for. I had similar issues with my 636 rearsets as well as the master cylinder wouldn't bolt up directly either. The R&D team at Vortex is junk on their best of days! It hard to rate as FortNine was amazing but Vortex...well, not so much

        Questions

Do the ends of the pedals fold on this model? Is there mounting hardware for the brake light switch?

        Asked by: segs
Yes, the pegs fold. As for the brake light switch, these rearsets do not use: OEM rear brake light switch, spring & lever return spring. In race form these rear sets no longer activate rear brake light from rear brake lever. Street use requires rear brake light to be activated by rear & front brake levers. To achieve rear brake light activation from rear brake lever use Vortex in-line pressure switch RS100.

I'm a tall rider and my feet go numb in my relaxed reg stance. What is the down and back adjustment from stock?

        Asked by: Rustler84
Significant, actually. Though each hole may only be a centimetre over -side to side, up or down-, it equates to inches at a time to both your knee and/or ankle angles. As such, you'll have better blood flow and a more comfortable riding position, suited to your body type. And, I'll also add: despite a few lay downs at the track, they've neither bent or broke.
