WTB Macro SG MTB Tire

The WTB Macro tubeless tire - with SG Puncture Protection - is a cross-country ride specific.

Macro reinforces the notion that XC shouldn't be categorized by rigid posts and pinner tires. XC is growing faster by the day and Macro is here to exceed its expectations. Minimal, fast-rolling tread wraps over a wide casing to increase traction and confidence without added knob weight. Minimal tread overhang also reduces weight while a round tire profile provides smooth cornering on hardpack surfaces.

• TCS (Tubeless Compatible System): WTB's standardized tubeless system. These tires feature a TCS tubeless casing, which nearly eliminates flats and allows lower tire pressures to improve traction and comfort over a traditional tube-type tire

SG Puncture Protection and Air Retention:

SG tires start at the material level, specifically formulated for superior sidewall protection and increased air retention in high-pressure tires. The sidewall protection has extra layer that defends most exposed areas of the tire and improves air retention for high-pressure tires.

TriTec Compound:

The more layers of rubber present in the tread, the better control riders have over the ride characteristics. TriTec compound features three layers to provide optimal levels of traction, support, and durability. A base of high durometer rubber supports the entire tread and is capped by medium stiffness center knobs and softer side knobs.
