An extremely strong lock body and piercing alarm make the high-performance XX15 a remarkably effective way to protect your motorbike.
Lock:
High nickel-content stainless-steel mono-block construction with a broad fit profile and 14mm (9/16") double-locking, carbide-reinforced hardened-steel locking pin. Freeze-spray resistant, pick-resistant key and barrel.
Alarm:
Shock & motion sensors trigger a piercing 120dB anti-theft alarm powered by a single CR2 long-life Lithium battery. Self-arming, with no on-off switch, re-sets to armed mode within 15 seconds.

I like the added security
I hear about sport bikes getting pinched every week! These guys need to be slowed down. This lock adds the feature of noise. If I accidentally bump my bike or take the chain off the back tire without disarming the disc lock on the front, Then I'm running for the keys. It has impact and movement sensors. I use it with the cable/chain adapter and hook a cable to one of my other bikes. So it's like having one alarm for 2 bikes. Any movement and its going off. If you like security then this is a must buy. Takes a little getting used to but once you figure it out it's great.

False alarms!
I bought this a few years ago. It's tricky getting on and off without the alarm sounding. Even after using it many times, I still struggle to arm it before it sounds. Once armed, it often goes off for no reason. I heard they changed the sensor to help stop false alarms but I can't verify if it's any better. I tried cleaning the sensor and it still acts up. I'm nervous about using it anywhere where someone might be disturbed in the night, like a campground or even on my driveway. Too bad. Maybe I'll just take the battery out and use it as a regular disc lock, but the nice thing about the alarm is that you can leave a tank bag on or other bags while you eat and it will sound if anyone is tampering with your stuff. I'd read more reviews elsewhere before buying if I were you.

it's a lock.................
I bought this product on the basis of other reviews. Unfortunately it has turned out to be a very expensive disc lock. 2 weeks after using it it, the alarm would constantly go off and then re-arm itself. Frustrating, no matter what I did, it would not work correctly. The battery is now dead, thank God !!! Lesson learned................

Good for me
Great for me. People complain that the alarm goes on by itself...I agree sometime but a few time and it s because you have to change the lock position. Maybe because of the trigger inside that doesn’t like a certain angle. When you know this...it doesn’t do it by itself. Great irritating sound...very useful when you forgot about it on your wheel and want to go. It makes 4 bip before the alarm. Much better than the lock that you need to put a cap on your starter keyhole.. if somebody take it off or you forget to install the cap...you will definitively fall down hard and brake your disc. Small and easy storage in you bag. 3 years now using this on my Vulcan MeanStreak and I approuve. Check before using on a Harley...some older model the brake disc are too big.
