Great Value
This is my first motorcycle and I am happy with it for the price. I remove the hood though as I thinks it is really practical. I got complimented on the look and it's comfy.
Got to wear it without any other warm apparel but a long sleeve shirt and I was ok in a 8 deg. Celcius (dry) temperature.

Size up.
I normally buy medium or large size jackets, so I bought a large to be safe. I have some trouble getting my arms/shoulders in this "large" jacket with my medium athletic build. I strongly recommend going up one size with this product.

does it come with elbow and shoulder armor? or at least pockets (notice that a lot of Z1R products don't often mention if they do)

Would you recommend "sizing up" if you're going to add a full compliment of armour?
The jacket should accommodate armour unless the jacket sizing is extremely tight to begin with. Of course when looking for a roomier fit, it is recommended to go up a size. Usually when you want to wear layers underneath.

What size back protector fits this jacket?
Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not provide us with a list of compatible armor with this item. Most of the armor that we sell is universal.
The best way to determine if a certain armor will fit, is to measure the armor pocket on the jacket itself. The dimensions of most of the armor that we sell is listed in the product details section of the item.
