The material is thinner and flimsier than I was expecting, but super stretchy. It does a great job at keeping the wind off your neck (even at negative temperatures--lowest I tested was -4 after wind chill), while not being stiflingly hot on warmer days. An added bonus is that it keeps braids/ponytails/etc. from getting completely unmanageable at speed, too. It folds down fairly small and flat to fit nicely in jacket pockets, too.
The only disappointment I had with it is that I was expecting it to be a bit more capable for multi-tasking. In particular, it isn't very absorbent, which is great on rainy days but not so great if you were hoping it could help wipe down your seat if it's wet or dirty (instead of carrying a separate bandana or such for that purpose).

Does what is supposed to
Bought these back in late fall so ran them on the last few rides and they were great for keeping dust and debris from getting lodged in my beard. Great looking designs. Can tend to stay moist just from your breath on long rides, but still a great product

Warmer than I expected!
Bought this earlier this summer but never really used it until recently. It works awesome for providing extra warmth on these cool autumn days, even though it's light weight.

Works well
It's a nice simple scarf tube thingy. There's no seams or tags or anything to irritate you skin, so that's a plus. Does a sufficient job keeping the cool morning air off the skin.
Could use a bit more tension at the ends so it makes a snugger fit around your face, but it's good enough.

Smooth material
I bought about 10 of these ... kept a couple and gave a few away. Fit tighter and don't flap like handkerchiefs do with an open face. Good breathability to prevent fog up of glasses or goggles if you pull it up over the nose. Look good and easy to wash.
