The Z5403 Headlight Guard perfectly matches the contours of the R1200GS and R1200GS Adventure LED headlight. Made to fit the redesigned vent of the 2017-Current models, but will also fit 2013-16 models. This guard is thermoformed to wrap around the headlight where it's attached to the frame cover using marine-grade Velcro®. Crystal clear optics will not distort or reduce light beam. Looks good in the picture, but just that.
I bought this a couple of months ago for my 2022 R1250 GS, after checking multiple options. When I installed it it looked terrible, its like installing a tupperware on your headlight. It is just a piece of plastic thermoformed to fit the headlight and is attached using velcro...yes velcro.
