Excellent Protection, decent comfort
Impact level 2 (CE) removable elbow (forearm), shoulder & back, Impact level 1 (CE) removable chest. So lots of quality protection. The level 2 stuff is pretty stiff but reasonably comfortable in most standing/biking positions. Reaching for the opposite shoulder is restrictive, as is both arms to straight up but otherwise movement isn't inhibited.
Its compression fit so hard to say for certain if its worth sizing up, I got a medium and it works for my size (181cm height, 105cm chest) but a large probably would have been fine too hard to say because no useful size guide exists for this. I prefer a long sleeve layer underneath for additional comfort (and reduced washing).
Pads are easy to remove and replace so the shirt easily customizes to protection for your activity of choice.
