Rated 4 out of 5 by from Would be 5 stars if it came with a second visor I decided to be a guinea pig for that helmet and except for the price tag I do not regret it. First off, nobody mention the aerodynamics in a helmet review or testing but this helmet is great in the wind. I ride a naked bike and you can do shoulder checks at speeds of over ***censored*** Kph without fearing your head will be ripped off by your lid and my head is not getting shoved left and right at highway speeds. It's definitely way more quiet than my budget carbon lid.(riöt would not recommend except for scooters if that stop them from putting pipes on those things) The ventilation is ok, not great but you will consider the cracked open but latched posion of the visor a ventilation setting if you buy it. The latch system works great once you get used to it. Press and release then push up on the visor to crack it open or press with your index and lift with your thumb at the same time to get passed the 2nd latch slot and open it all the way. The visor hinge mechanism might just the best on the market for it's ease of use and metal construction. The latch is another story, if you get a second visor it will need to be adjusted and the Phillips screw is a major PITA to get loose. Also, the secret graphic is one of the best I have seen since the discontinued boba fett from hjc. It's definetly a head turner and helps you be visible to other road users. Btw, the vents are black instead of white but maybe it's because mine was fabricated in 2019. I added a gold iridium visor to it and I think its one of the best color combo for this graphic. It's the only combination i could not find on the internet so I will leave you my pics.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best helmet ever I crashed at 100km/h with this helmet, when my head hut the ground it felt like being laid delicately on a pillow. Super comfortable helmet, love the pinlock, ordered it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A new experience Before I bought this helmet, I was wearing one of the Blitwell Gringo helmets (it looked so rad with a rainbow mirrored visor), and I didn't realize this helmet did not fit me at all. At an XS, (the smallest size they had) it never fit snugly along my face, cheeks and jaw line. I never did get any cheek inserts for it - an idiot move - so my experience of riding was that at high speeds, I felt incredibly unstable. When I would move my head to do shoulder checks, my face would turn first, and the helmet would follow. We were not a team, and I felt like I always had to pick up the slack. Once this magical AGV helmet (and mirrored gold visor) arrived, my riding experience improved by an immeasurable degree. The vision is so much wider, the air flow is so good, it streamlines wind so that I don't feel so oppressed going at higher speeds. The helmet reduces SO much noise (the Blitwell wad a very open neck..). When I turn my head to check blindspots, WE MOVE AS A UNIT. This helmet has made me feel so much more stable and free and confident; confident to be the bad b*tch I think I am, even though that's maybe a bit ambitious.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not an Arai but really good for the price After almost 12 years of Arai, I gave this AGV a try. Not as great, but, for half the price, pretty good! I'll probably wear it for 2-3 years and then go back to Arai when they have something 22.06.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light weight, comfortable Very light helmet makes a huge difference while riding! Shoulder checks are easy!! I usually wear xl helmets but this one the L fits perfect! Go a size down! Only thing is that vents are black instead of white with newer models! Fortnine only has the 2019 models!! I LOVE THIS HELMET

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfection Been using the helmet for a few months and have been loving every second of it. Quiet, sleek, incredibly light, it has all the features you want with no unwanted frills.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very light and comfortable! Have been using this for a couple of weeks now and I'm really enjoying it. First thing you notice is how incredibly light this helmet is, you don't feel its weight when riding at all, however, the noise remembers you of that. I found it quite noisy in the beginning after 60kph, but it seems to have reduced significantly after installing the chin skirt and the noise is not as noticeable now. I haven't ridden long enough on the highway to say about the wear on your neck due to wind/weight, but given this is a light helmet and I don't recall feeling my head being pushed around by the wind, it should be good there. In the beginning it might feel a bit tight to come in but it doesn't press your head if you got the right size. After a few uses, it will come in more easily and fit perfectly. The visor is quite sturdy, very high quality and the transparency is great, along with their new connection system which makes it very easy to remove and insert the visor. The visor lock gives you an extra feel of safety, it's relatively easy to use as I am still getting the hang of it and the latch doesn't bother me at all when it's full open. It comes with pinlock insert in the box but it seems to add quite a bit of distortion to the view. Mine also came with a small mark in one side on internal part of the insert which I tried to clean but just made it worse, so I never used it, and I simply open it 1 or 2 notches if it starts to fog, and if you leave the ventilation open the fog will go away when you're in movement. TL;DR; Very light, comfortable, but quite noisy without the chin skirt. Recommend it!

Has anyone tried putting a Cardo or sena in this helmet.  I know it has recessed ear cups for speakers just wondering what the comms mounting experience was like

                  Asked by: Ezski
According to the online reviews of this helmet, the compatible Cardo or Sena systems will mount to this helmet with no issues. There were a few exceptions such as one review where the rider mentioned that the Sena 50S rubs against the helmet's ridgeline after installation. Another review noted that the speaker pockets are only barely deep enough for the Cardo JBL speakers. But overall, the reviews that mention comms applications are very positive.

I wear a Large Shoei RF-1200 with glasses, according to the size chart (only has K1/3/5), a Large would be a little smaller for the K6 in comparison, by a few centimetres. Should I be okay with a Large if I wanted to continue wearing glasses?

                  Asked by: Wallace
According to the AGV website, you should use the size chart of the pista gp and corsa r.
