Designed to handle vigorous off-roading, the versatile A-6 Chest Protector incorporates highly ventilated Level 2 Cell technology protectors on the chest, back, and a removable flexible Level 1 protector on the shoulders. With flexible protector plates and soft extensively perforated bio-foam interior padding, the A-6 Chest Protector is extremely comfortable, with a lightweight design that allows for high levels of breathability and airflow.

Would highly recommend
Very impressed with this item. Been eyeing up this chest protector vs others for a while and finally bit the bullet on bought it. I have always worn chest and back protectors riding and it’s one of the most important pieces of equipment for me. This is the best I’ve ever used and probably the best that’s out there in this category. It doesn’t feel like a CE level 2 rated protector, and I’m saying that in the best way possible. It’s extremely comfortable and easy to move in, has good coverage in its CE rated zones (basically everywhere), very good venting, and is lightweight. I haven’t been wearing the shoulders while riding, but they are very comfortable and I will be wearing them the next time I’m racing off road or going on more serious trail rides. The only drawbacks I could see with it would be it could be a touch bulky if worn under the jersey, and the back may be a bit too long for some people in using it like that. I don’t think it looks that bad over the jersey either and that’s how I’ve been wearing it. The side foam pads on the waist strap worried me at first for warmth reasons, but it hasn’t seemed to be too bad yet. I did a 3.5 hour race in it and didn’t overly notice, although I have thought about cutting it down or out for more breathability in that area. I could see moving up to and A10 if someone really wanted proper side protection and a bit more shoulder and upper arm protection, but for my uses now (little more moto than off road) this is great. I feel like this item has good value in what features it offers and in function.

Perfect for dual sport riding.
I bought this as I wanted additional protection for my chest and back and went with this one as it offers level 2 for both. It is easy to get on and off and you forget you are wearing it. I wear this for both dual sport rides and road-only rides, I just remove the shoulder protection if wearing under a jacket with built-in armor. It flows air really well and I don't notice any additional heat build up in hot weather. Would highly recommend.
