Nice but....
I brought this somewhere else but might help others. The sizing ran big on me 6'5" 230lbs.Tried the XXL and XL,ended up with the XL. It is very comfortable right out of the box like most Astar productsI use.
After the first crash test the knee cap protector popped apart and the guide popped out as well.
Not a big deal but annoying, I'll give it a few more tries see if it's consistent.

Poor knee cap design
I love everything about the fit of these knee braces, very comfortable and not too hot. However, the knee cap system which is built out of plastic sliding parts did not last more than a couple of rides before it started to fall apart and get very annoying. Clicking sounds when moving your leg around and bits and pieces falling out. I'll add I never crashed with these, it is just normal wear on the bike. There is no way to change out or replace these parts according to the manufacturer, so the life of the knee brace is dependant on these sliding plastic bits. Too bad really. A lot of money for how long they have lasted.
