Comfy, great look, saved my foot and ankle
Besides liking the boots overall and finding them comfy and good value, I must also say that they literally saved my feet and ankle.
After a 60km/h crash, being able to walk and not feeling any pain down there was a relief. Looking at the damage on the boots I can safely say that they did their job perfectly and I can still walk thanks to them. It's just very scary to think that all those scratches and scraped off plastic would have been my leg if I didn't have the boots.
Piece of advice; spend the extra money and buy and wear good boots.

Great boots
Got them this summer and I even wear them to go next door as they are so good and comfortable. I thought they would be soaking wet hot in the summer but they actually are quite cool. They are very flexible and light. I have big calves so the large velcros work very fine above the zipper. They are also confortable to walk on them when stopping and not riding. 5 star, worth the price and the Alpinestars quality.

Very comfortable
Very comfortable boot with good protection but not so stiff you can’t wear them around at the mall. I don’t really like all the Velcro over the zipper but it is good quality.

Great replacement
I bought these online to replace my old boots. Fit was perfect 1/2 sizes are brilliant. A little stiff for walking, but they are bike boots not hiking boots. Great support, Velcro fastens very well.

Questions

Hey there I’m in 13 US what size I should get first time getting boots
A size 48 is a US size 12.5 and a 49 is a US 13.5. Alpinestars boots usually come up a bit larger than other boots, so you should be okay with a size 48 here. However, if you are on the larger end of a size US 13, we would recommend going for the size 49.

If I usually 8.5 US size .. should I go with the 8 or the 9?
These fit on the larger side, we would recommend going with an 8.
