With a highly durable and abrasion resistant poly-fabric main shell and subtly incorporated class-leading Nucleon Flex Plus protection, the T-GP Plus R V3 Jacket is designed to keep you safe and comfortable as you hold the throttle open. Featuring a large mesh panel on the chest, back and arms for maximum airflow, this jacket is also equipped with a convenient full circumference waist zipper for a safe and secure attachment to Alpinestars pants.

- Chassis constructed from hard wearing 600 Denier polyester with double polyurethane coating on the back for additional protection
- Large mesh panel on front, back and upper sleeves for optimized levels of airflow
- Large stretch panel on shoulder and underarm for an optimized fit and performance

Love the Jacket
It's a great jacket with a few issues you need to know about!
It's tiny, my Large is a bit of a tight fit, but it's very comfortable & feels like I'm riding in a T-shirt, definitely wear a sweater on cold days.
The zipper is kind of trash & doesn't always wanna cooperate.
it also kinda rides up in a tuck.. That being said it looks great, feels great on & is definitely safer then riding in a hoodie

Nice jacket
Nice jacket, you are paying a little extra for Alpinestars logos and style of course! This jacket has Nucleon protection on shoulders and elbows - very flexible and unobtrusive.
Very easy to upgrade protection if you want to, accessible pockets with Velcro fastening inside the lining.
The all black/ stealthy version has black plastic lettering and logos, the others have much nicer stitched emblems and logos.
Overall, a good choice if you want a stylish look while out on your sports bike.

J'utilise cette veste depuis 1 mois. Bonne ventilation. Coupe ajusté. Je fait 37 po de poitrine et 30 po. de taille. La grandeur PETIT me fait parfaitement. Finition soignée. Ce modèle remplace le T-GP R AIR que j'ai eu pendant 5 ans. La seule raison pourquoi je ne donne pas 5 étoiles est dû au fait que ce modèle est à mon avis un échelon plus bas en performance par rapport à l'ancien. Il n'y a plus de veste intérieur (coupe vent) amovible. et surtout le niveau de protection aux coudes et aux épaules a diminué de niveau 2 à niveau 1.

It was a long search
After going through 6 other textile and mesh jackets from Revit, Dainese, Icon and Scorpion finally stopped my search on Alpinestars T-GP Plus R V3 Air - size L. I am 6.0 and 170 lbs, and a lot of jackets are either short, or loose (arms or waist), or just poor quality.
This jacket fits well with a T-shirt, a bit snug with thin sweater. Very breathable, would not recommend for temperatures lower than +10 C. Perfect for summer. A bit pricey, considering I had to buy a back protector separately. The armour is quite flexible and comfortable, yet feels like it can withstand strong impact (lucky that did have to test it).
Giving it 4 stars, because elbow and shoulder armour cannot be taken out, and it had a funny smell when I got it. After 2 month riding the smell kinda went away.
A big thank to F9 for making returns so simple!

Great protection
Sadly I crashed my bike and slid for about 20 meters on my belly ... even tho the front of the coat is made of mesh (and that was a conserne of mine regarding its protection), it did not let go and it did its job of protecting me very well. Unfortunatly the coat's mesh around the zipper is pretty messed up now so i will have to replace it. I would buy it again without any hesitations.
!!!*don't quote me on the fitment rating* I don't remember my size, but i know that i followed the chart and I got the right size the first time.
