The AltRider Side Stand Foot embraces this ideal by providing your bike with a sure-footed solution to parking on any terrain you can find with your Scrambler. Made from robust 1/8 inch (3.175 mm) stainless steel, this foot will stand up to repeated use better than aluminum. The use of a bent flanges reduce the bike's weight leverage on the foot which, on other designs, can lead to metal fatigue and stress on the mounting bracket causing the foot to come loose. Coupled with an aggressive tread design, the bent flange of the foot provides an ergonomic platform for your boot and puts it right where you need it. The precise layout of the mounting bolt pattern and use of Torx fasteners keep the foot securely connected to the side stand; no more rattling, stripped fasteners or lost feet.
