Description
The Arai Regent-X helmet is designed to isolate you from distractions with the kind of comfort only Arai can deliver. Built with the same protection as the flagship Corsair-X model, the Regent-X features a new interior for both comfort and ease of putting it on and taking it off.
Design and protection:
- Intermediate Oval Shape: designed for the rider whose head has a front-to-back dimension that is longer than the side-to-side dimension. This is a neutral head-shape design which tends to fit most riders well
- PB-cLc-1 shell with AR-mat: light and strong construction
- Wider base of 5 mm: new design making it easier to get the helmet on and off
- Famous Arai R75 overall organic helmet shape: long-tested and well-accepted design to absorb the most energy during an impact
Comfort:
- FCS cheek pads (Facial Contour System): multiple layers of varying foam densities supported by a "spring" foam, giving extra comfort to the lower jaw and cheeks
- FFS chin curtain (Free Flow System): improves airflow and reduces noise, while increasing hot air exhaust
- Interior lining: soft-brushed and semi-removable liner
Ventilation:
- Chin vent shutter: closable gate in front of the center vent to block out colder wind. Can be opened in warmer weather
- Other intakes: air openings on top and brow vents
- QVR Series top vents: rear exhaust duct with a three-position sliding lever
- Other exhaust: sides and neck with aerodynamic stability
Shield:
- VAS shield mechanism (Variable Axis System): moving pilot point allowing for a lower shield mount position
- Dual-function lever: removable cover plate and shield pin for a quick-release shield
- Improved VAS shield de-mist latch: captures and securely holds the shield closed to help resist unexpected opening
- VAS Max Vision shield: large-visibility visor with two highly efficient brow vents
- Pinlock-Ready (Pinlock lens is compatible, but not included)
Other Features:
- Speaker pockets inside the cheek pads
- Compatible with Pro Shade system

- DOT and Snell M2020 certified
Note: Head liner and cheek pads are removable, but not the chin curtain and neck roll. All parts can be cleaned with lukewarm water and gentle soap.

Great helmet
Helmet is great quality well worth the money for the best protection for your head! Fort nine is a real good company and the helmet arrive to chilliwac bc very fast.

Images of colours are not accurate!
2 stars because I am mad about the grossly inaccurate colour depiction of the Arai supplied product images.
If you have a smaller noggin, this helmet fit is wonderful!
The images (supplied by the manufacturer of the helmet) is not at all an accurate depiction of product colour.
I ordered the Code Yellow. The image makes this helmet look like it has a metallic/pearlized sheen to a rich yellow/gold colour. What I got was not even close to the image. The helmet colour has no reflective sheen to it and the yellow is not the rich gold colour portrayed. The colour literally looks like a flat yellow construction safety helmet. If you want to look like a safety pilon while you are riding, this is the colour for you!
I did email the manufacturer (Arai) about the deceptive images they are using for this product and I was told they would have their team look into it. Only time will tell if they actually update their images to accurately represent their product colours.
Fortnine has a great return policy so returning the helmet was easy. They used the images provided by the manufacturer so this is no fault of their own.
Initial fit and comfort was great! I can't speak to long term comfort as I only tried it on to check the fit before returning it. I do want to re-order this product but I plan on going into a store to see the colour options in person so I know what I am getting.

Awesome Helmet
Being using this helmet for 3 months now, easily the most comfortable properly fitting helmet I’ve ever owned. Visors changes are tricky the first couple tries but once you get it down you can have one off and another on very quickly, even while wearing the it! After it broke in I ordered 5mm thicker check pads to snug it up again and help with the wind noise a little. Airflow through all the vents is good and the clarity of the Aria visor is awesome. The only negative about this helmet is F9 doesn’t have the pin lock insert in stock.
