Avid BB5 Road Mechanical Disc Brake

SRAM/Avid BB5 Road Series Disc Brake Caliper has power in simplicity. "BB" stands for "Ball Bearing" system, so you get smooth, modulated power and control, plus user-friendly setup and adjustability. And the lightweight rotor with 6-hole keep the weight in check so the performance boost applies to climbs as well as descents.

• Tri-Align™ Caliper Positioning System™ (CPS): for easy caliper/rotor alignment. Just loosen the CPS bolts a little, and then squeeze the brake lever while re-tightening the bolts, for a perfect caliper alignment
• Compatible with RED, Force, Rival and Apex levers
• Caliper type is 51 mm I.S/74 mm Post Mount
• Outboard Pad adjustment knobs
• Brake lever actuation: Short pull
• Pads with Steel back plate included

Note: Disc Brake Caliper comes with a G2 CleanSweep Rotor (6-bolt/hole) and an Adapter or can be purchased as a Disc Brake Caliper alone.
