Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite hand guards yet! I used to buy the acerbis rally pro hand guards but their quality has gone downhill so I thought I would try these. Am I glad I did. There are zero clearance issues with the brake and clutch levers or the cables. You can even get a weighted adapter to go on the end to help reduce bar vibrations, and you can get led flashers or running lights to mount on them. You can run them with or without the plastic rock guard. I have them installed on a pro taper pastrana fmx bar. The only thing I could see that could use improvement is the sleeve that goes inside the handle bar. In my opinion it is too short and doesn't have any knurling on it which might make it easy for the hand guards to rotate in the event of a crash due to lack of grip on the inside of the bar. Time will tell.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect for my CRF250F Even though it does not specify it anywhere, these are the perfect fit for the 2019-2020 Honda CRF250F. Easy to install and sturdy. The tiny screws that hold the plastic hand covers are total garbage and I recommend replacing those, otherwise, great product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beefy! I got these for my 2016 Yamaha xt250. The fit was okay but I did find I couldn't place them at the most desired angle due to interference with brake lines. However I'm fairly happy with the resulting position and believe they will still protect my hands and controls. I was a bit disappointed that, after removing the end of the grip and throttle housing on the right side, I found that post-install, the bar end is left open. This means that if I dump my bike into some dirt, I believe dirt will get in between the throttle body and the bar. I know this is reasonably easy to resolve, but I'd much rather see a better method to protect the open end of the throttle. I'm also not a fan of the self tapping screws for mounting the plastic JET guards onto the aluminum frame. This doesn't lend to re-usability of those holes as they have the potential to strip out over time. I would have preferred proper holes through the aluminum frame and mounting with nuts and bolts. At some point I may modify the aluminum bars myself to allow for easier swapping of hand-guard plastics.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tough! I bought these a couple months ago and just installed them and went on a ride and I crashed and all they did was bend up and one shield popped off but nothing broke my only complaint would be some of the bolts are to small but otherwise then that I’d definitely recommend them

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good bars The best part about it is the bars. The screws that come with it are garbage though, snapped the left one on a really slow speed fall. Just straight up snapped as soon as it touched the dirt. Still, good bars otherwise

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I bought them for yamaha tw 200 and they fit well. The attachment of plastic deflectors could be better than two cheap sheet metal screws.Besides that they are sturdy and look good.

Witch barkbusters fit 2017 klr 650 straight or tapered

                  Asked by: Evo 1340
If you have original bars on your bike, it probably has 7/8" bars. If it has aftermarket "Pro Taper" bars, or a different brand, it could be a "Tapered" bar. In this case, you would need to measure the bars for and select the correct option.

is it on a wr 250 f 2009 and what is the difference between strait and tapered???

                  Asked by: Raymurdock
If you have original bars on your bike, it probably has 7/8" bars. If it has aftermarket "Pro Taper" bars, or a different brand, without a crossbar, it could be a "Tapered" bar. Either measure the bars, or read the printing on them. The tapered bars go from 1&1/8" in the clamp area to 7/8" on the grip area. You need different clamps for the "Bark Busters" if that is the case.

Do you know if these will fit a 2022 ktm 125?

                  Asked by: Mike
I bought these for my KLX 140L which is also a smaller dirt bike.  I’d say take the listed measurement and line that up with your bars and see if there’s empty space on the bars where the interior mounts would go.  I know a friend has these on her Honda 125 and they fit.  Worth ordering and if by chance they don’t fit- Fortnine is excellent with returns in my experience.  These are definitely one of the top sets to get for a smaller bike.
