Nice bars, fit up interferes with brake cylinder
Bar mounts using engine mounting bolts. One of the bolts ended up interfering with the rear brake master cylinder as the bolt sticks further out due to the thickness of the added spacer and the bar mounting plate. In order to make it fit I had to replace the spacer with some thinner washers, I had to remove the washer from that bolt as well, and I had to add several washers as shims to move the entire floorboard and brake assembly further away from the frame. The bars are nice and would have been an easy install if it hadn't been for the fit up problem at the rear brake master cylinder.

these bars work great.. I have had the unfortunate experience of dropping the bike 2 times in emergency stopping.. But the Barons crash bars did exactly what they were suppose to do.. they kept me and my motorcycle from serious damage.. Only minor injury to my knee.. and absolutely no damage to bike or exhaust.. held the bike up even with a 20 foot slide.. cant say enough praise for these heavy duty bars..
