Questions
Does this kit include a quick connector that I can leave on the bike when not used?
The charger only has traditional alligator clips. One must buy a separate quick connector as you called it. For around $10 I bought part: Battery Tender Quick Disconnect Harness - 081-0069-6

Does the charger carry an electrical approval for use in Canada. ie CSA cUL cETL etc etc
I have a Shorai battery with an sae lead on it. Would this be compatible with that?
Hi, I’m using this charger on ag401 antigravity batteries, works well IF the battery has some life, 9v is good but I have had very limited luck charging from dead. Less than 3v and it will not work and I generally put a standard batt. charger on for 10 min. or so then flick on the proper lithium charger and setting. They don’t like this!! I have desroyed a few of these batteries by killing them completely. Had one melt down bad in the bike, scared! The others have just expanded a Lot, then they’re junk.

Can the fused ring terminals be left attached to a battery, to plug in as needed? Or do I need to purchase the battery quick connector for that purpose? Thanks!
I'll answer my own question after purchasing this:
Yes, it can be left attached for easy charging/maintaining. It has a 7.5A fuse and can be attached to accessories when not use to charge the battery itself. Additional quick connectors can be purchased for multiple vehicles/batteries.

Can you use this for winter storage inside unheated garage in Winnipeg? -30 happens, -20 is normal for weeks at a time
Yes. I put it on year round. I've had it 6 year's outside

Somebody told me that this charger/maintainer only maintain the battery to what the power is when you plug it in…For example if the battery is 80% charged when you put it on it will keep it at that 80% and not charge it at 100%? Is that true?
No, that is not correct. It has to charge before it can maintain the battery's voltage.
