Great helmet for great price
Purchased this helmet and just used it for the first time - its comfortable and light. I'm really happy to have the MIPS technology in a lower price range. Was disappointed on the lack of design/colour options but otherwise totally satisfied.

Comfortable, Lightweight, and Safe!
I bought this new lid to wear in the woods instead of my MX-9 Adventure, and I’m so glad I switched. The weight difference alone was worth the price of a new helmet. Makes riding for hours in the woods much easier on the neck.
I love the fit and comfort of Bell Helmets. Fit true to size.
Thankfully I haven’t had to put the MIPS liner to use, but I’m grateful it’s there when/if I need it!

Very comfortable, top-featured helmet!
Helmet was at an excellent price, arrived quickly, and is very comfortable. My only gripe, and this only applies to riders who wear glasses when riding, is that the space between the helmet and the larger goggles is tight. Otherwise, it's an awesome helmet.

Great helmet for riding in town
I bought this helmet because I wanted my next helmet to have MIPS, the price was right, and I thought Ryan F9's recommendation to try an MX lid for commuting was a good idea. I'd say this helmet is my new go-to for riding in town most of the time now.
PROS: super comfy IMO, like the liner material, easy to get on and off, lightweight, works well with my glasses (tho the arms are pretty thin on them). I also really like the looks of the Grey/HiViz Offset colourway I bought, and with the visor on it is pretty visible in traffic without being a yellow gumball. The airflow is fantastic; feels nearly like wearing a 3/4. The visor can be adjusted easily while riding by smushing it up or down, and I didn't find it pulled my head around when shoulder-checking at any kind of speed you would do in the City.
CONS: Just like Ryan said, it's pretty dang loud without earplugs, and your face will get wet in the rain (duh). The shell is also bigger than my other helmet (HJC IS-17) despite the head size being identical, so it is a tad more bobble-headed looking. Taking the visor on and off feels fiddly and a bit cheap, but not unreasonably so considering how cheap the helmet is to buy.
FIT: I have a 58cm intermediate oval, got a Medium, and it fits perfect. As mentioned, I can put my glasses on wearing the helmet with no problem. I bought a pair of 100% Accuri 2 goggles to use with the helmet, and they fit the shape of the eyeport perfectly - only small gap is below the goggles where the chin bar juts out.

Ece, mips, excellent all rounder!
True to size. wide enough eye port that even OTG goggles fit no problem. Ventilation is 100% better than similarly priced helmets like evs t5. High quality fit and finish for this price point. Loud as any other mx helmet. Note: your comms unit may have to be mounted by sticker because there’s zero space between eps and shell.

Broke My Neck, but no damage to my head..
At first I thought it was bulky, however I got used to it. I had 2 crashes with this Helmet. first was hitting a tree- No injuries, 2nd crash I got pile drove into the ground head first, I broke my neck, the helmet still is intact- even the visor just bent/flexed and back into shape, Doctors were impressed. Now I bought a new one, hoping not to test it out...

Looking to replace a 2016 Moto 9. The liner is extremely durable (I've washed after every ride). Cheek pads in the lid are magnet fit is it the same feature on this helmet or what lid in the Bell lineup do I need to go with to get that.
Are there any shields available for this helmet? I have the M9-9 mips Dart in a size small. Also, if no shields available, can you recommend goggles that would fit this helmet?

How does this helmet sizing compare to Fox or FXR helmets? Does the large Bell fit like the large Fox or FXR?
From my experience and riding buddies over the years. Fox helmets fit smaller so you have to get a size up. The Bell helmets fit true to size, there a little snug at first then it compresses a bit over time to your head then it’s perfect
