The reinforcements on the heel and ankle, combined with the one on the gear area, guarantee safety, while the soles, which resist deformation on impact, are built with the exclusive Groundtrax technology with asymmetrical tread geometry in the gear and brake area to ensure maximum foot peg control.
The sole layout is designed for superior walking comfort, ensuring high levels of stability, grip and traction, on both the bike's foot pegs and the ground.
The fit is facilitated by the practical eyelet on the back of the shoe, while the Ortholite insole guarantees maximum breathability and long-lasting cushioning.
Ortholite Cushioning Footbed
OrthoLite cushioning footbeds integrated into Dainese footwear ensure the greatest comfort and brethability throughout time, in all conditions. OrthoLite foam compresses less than 5% of its thickness over the lifetime of the footbed, so the cushioning, fit, comfort and performance never change. In addition, the open-cells of the OrthoLite foam, allow air to circulate in and around the footbed, moving the moisture away and keeping the foot cooler and drier for longer.
Groundtrax Outsoles
Groundtrax outsoles are engineered to ensure stability, grip and traction both on the footpegs and once off the saddle. Thanks to the design of lugs and grooves, as well as the choice of the rubber compound, the wear-resistance and self-cleaning of the tread are maximized. Soles feature an asymmetric design, specifically on the gear shifter and brake areas, to provide an higher precision during the ride.
