The ESR390 was designed as a modern regulator/rectifier to be used as a replacement for the Yamaha XZ550 Vision OEM regulator.
The ESR390 offers superior performance and reliability compared to the Yamaha part due to its modern power circuit and heat sink design with stable battery voltage across the RPM range and a cooler running housing.
