Hi.  It is unclear from the description, pics and vid whether the lower zipper extends from the ankle cuff up to the knee.  In other words, does the lower leg open up enough to get these pants on/off while still wearing large (size 11/12 or 47/48) boots?

Yes, you will still be able to wear a size 11/12 boots and still use the leg zip to remove the pants.
