Worthwhile upgrade to SRAM code OEM Sintered pads
My first ride on these Galfer PRO pads was amazin. I first bedded them-in on my neighbourhood hill with a couple of hill repeats...then I was off to a very rainy ride in Canmore Nordic Centre trail network. I only had time to install the front pad set and left the rear as the OEM SRAM sintered Code brake calipers. The Galfers were dead quiet in the wet while the rear SRAM just shreiked and squealled at me (like usual). The bite and feel was overall a big improvement...however I simultaneously upsized the rotor from 200mm to 220mm so hard to tell which item offered the biggest impact, but on the noise front these are a 100% improvement. Safe to safe the Galfer terminated my noise and vague braking feel, I was able to confidently descend the janky Terminator trail with poise and control unlike ever before.
