Better fade resistance
There is less fade over the SRAM Centerline rotors which this replaced on long descends. Last year I had a crash after multiple lift runs when my brakes lost bite and where not able to slow me down in a fast corner. Have done a few rides on these and so far no issues even after a long day of riding.
As for just regular riding, not worth an upgrade as there isn't that much difference in the bite. You will see a bigger difference from better pads then rotors. But if its time for new rotors, or your having fade issues, definitely worth spending a few extra buck for these.
They also look a lot nicer on my bike as well :)
I will be using these going forward on all my bikes.

Galfer Waves rock!
Been swapping old rotors with Galfer 180s and am sure they are better than the stock SRAMs I’m used to. This was my first Galfer 203 so I ordered the 2mm thick version. Super stiff and straight and added a lot of extra stopping power. Tops notch product.
