Not as expected
The foam is very thick, hard and small. The foam is contoured on the edges, but because they are so narrow, the edges dig into your back and make it very uncomfortable. The top piece became unglued rather quickly and it was better off without it. I don't recommend this problem.

Happy wife happy life!
Just purchased a BMW R1200GS Adventure. My wife was not happy that the hinges from the top box were digging into her back though her back protector. The backrest does exactly what it was designed to do, to the point that I now have to check that my wife has not fallen asleep

Ordered this backrest so that my pillion/wife would be more comfortable. Unfortunately, it sticks out too much, she removed after the first ride day
