Couple of issues
The tool bag fills the area beneath the rack entirely. It is small, but good enough for some small tools that are rust resistant, i.e. chrome plated.
This bag is not advertised as water proof and I don't expect it to be, so be cautious as to what you put inside it, I would avoid allen keys for example.
The strap used to secure the bag is too short by about 60cm, it does work but you do not get the full overlap of the velcro, I was only able to get aprox 1.2cm of it to engage. I'm sure it will be sufficient to hold the bag in place, but for something specifically designed to fit the 2014-2018 R1200GS Adventure I'm disappointed.
The toggles for the zipper cannot be tucked out of site, so they dangle down obscuring your tail light, even when both toggles are as far left or right as possible. I'm going to give this some thought and see if I can come up with a simple method of securing the toggles out of the way.
The reflective flap that covers and provides some weather protection to the zipper is also too short, slightly longer by 4.0mm would have given full coverage.
All in all I feel this was well thought out, but it could have been so much better.
