              Description

You've earned your stripes, so go ahead and wear them. The Airflite Tigers Blood Helmet goes for a subtle grey and black stripe, so you can stay camouflaged out there in the urban jungle. A Dark Smoke Fog-Free Forceshield™ gives you a distortion-free view of your prey, and the ECE R22.06 certification lets you stalk the streets with confidence. The injection-molded polycarbonate shell is as strong as a tiger's bite.

              Exterior

The helmet's ventilation system consists of strategically placed air vents, intakes, air channels and exhaust ports. The oversized chinbar intake enhances airflow, keeping you cool by routing air where you need it most. A decrease of both drag and weight was achieved by sculpting the traditional neckline of the Airflite to avoid jacket or suit interference.

              Shield

The Airflite has not one, but two shields. The unique quick-change fog-free shield keeps debris away from your money maker, while the internal interchangeable drop shield has the sun in check. No more swapping shields for cloudy or sunny days. Just reach up, flip the switch, and ride forever.

              Interior

The removable sweat wicking Hydradry™ liner provides a snug and contoured fit. Air from the vents is channeled between the comfort liner and the protective, energy absorbing EPS foam liner to create a nearly perfect rider-focused interior. The airflow works in conjunction with the Hydradry™ liner to effectively reduce heat build up. Combine that with superior venting and a removable breath deflector which creates a nearly perfect rider-focused enclosure.

              Features:

              • Meets DOT/ECE 22.06 Helmet Safety Standards
              • Injection molded polycarbonate shell for strength

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Icon QB1 I have been using this helmet now for 1 month. Love it! The helmet is quiet with no buffeting with the screens up or down. I really like the secondary sunshield, it makes it so that i do not need sunglasses. The fit is very comfortable although i would really suggest going up a size. I would absolutely buy this helmet again. Fortnine was amazing as i did have sizing issues but their return policy is awesome. Thank you Fortnine

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great helmet, even better service. I bought this helmet and it arrived faster than expected, one of the removable cheek pads was torn. Fortnine replaced it with no fuss and also sent me a more suitable size as the ones that arrived were to tight, no extra charge. I'll definitly be back for more.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wicked Looks I’ve been using the helmet for about 3 weeks now. I had a Medium Icon Alliance before that fit perfectly and ordered the medium for this helmet as well. Fit extremely tight but has since broken in; it is still quite snug so if you’re in between sizes, I would try sizing up. Pros -Looks wicked! -Gold shield looks great on the red helmet -Drop down visor Cons -Noisier than my icon alliance -Icon told me that the colour is racing red (looks very orange) and that they will be releasing a red colour sometime in August/September. -Will not work with the new Cardo PackTalk SLIM

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Head Turning Helmet The Airflite helmet does not disappoint. It is comfortable and moves a good amount of air with vents open, but also isn't too noisy. But the look is absolutely killer with a mirrored shield.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unique Helmet So far so good. Put about 16 hours of riding in it. Venting is good, style is A-1, fit was spot on for me in a Medium. Only advice I have is be mindful of the shield sticking out further than most helmets due to the unique design(banged into a few things lol). Other than that i'm happy with it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from First helmet Got this as my first helmet and have been on two rides so far. It’s quite comfortable, the weight is well balanced and distributed so it doesn’t pull your head in any direction, the “hydradry” liner is nice I didn’t even know I was sweating as much as I was until I pulled the helmet off. Has good visibility, nothing blocks your vision and field of view is as wide as my peripheral vision almost. Very good air flow, once I was moving it was nice and cool. I haven’t noticed the wind noise other people have mentioned but that being said it is my first helmet and I’ve not gone over 60km yet. Only have two cons I got the gloss white colour and in the photo the spoiler is gloss black but it’s actually smoked. The drop down visor was something I was excited about because it looked so cool and convenient but it doesn’t come down as far as I’d like and I noticed it does have a warp right where you look when your looking straight ahead *bonus* Not a con just an annoyance, the bottom of the main shield sits right at eye/eyebrow level when it’s folded up so on days like today when it’s 33 degrees in the morning and your practicing slow speed manoeuvres it gets in the way a bit. Didn’t notice it catching wind at 50-60km though like other people have said. Over all though I do like it a lot, the comfort out weighs the cons I think, besides you can’t look super cool and have 100% functionality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Looking helmet I purchased the QB1 helmet that was sold out everywhere. Somehow, FortNine had it in stock at a very reduced price. I’m from Ontario and it was delivered within two days!! Super happy with the service. Helmet fits snug so I would go up one size. Taking it off and on when new is a chore but rumour has it will eventually settle. It comes with the clear visor - upgrading to a coloured shield is a must. It changes the entire look of the helmet. The coloured visor is prone to fingerprints and scratches but looks awesome. The helmet is mid weight, airflow is good and good bang for the buck.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gorgeous helmet, great fit, can't breathe. I have been excited for a chance to own this helmet for years, and having owned one i no longer use it. The helmet is striking, and looks like no other helmet, especially with custom parts like visors and spoilers. If you're exclusively riding in nice weather and on the highway, and need a long oval helmet, this is for you. However, the visor, while being the defining feature of the helmet, has serious drawbacks. First, there are only detents for open and closed, nothing else. A small open for city, rain, or cooler rides, isn't possible and even with an anti-fog treatment, it fills with condensation after a few minutes of riding. The internal visor blocks the upper vents when retracted, which move almost no air at all even when unobstructed. When deployed, the internal visor is warped and makes it very difficult to see fine detail. The airflow when behind any kind of windshield is minimal at best, and it fills with dust almost immediately on any kind of gravel road. The fit of the side pads is so extreme, that it makes removing and putting on of the helmet painful, every time, however that fit does keep the noise out very well on the highway. Bottom line: if you're using the helmet in perfect conditions, it's a great helmet. For the other 99% of rides, it lacks a great deal of forethought, and doesn't work well off of the highway, but it's one of the most comfortable and smooth and quiet helmets I've ever worn.

              Questions

Does the Rubatone airflite come with a dark face shield or just the clear one? And does the helmet come with the spoiler already or do I need to buy it separate?

              Asked by: Droolboy
Clear face shield only, and the spoiler is attached to the helmet and included. You can purchase additional shields here: https://fortnine.ca/en/icon-airflite-shield

I am a shortsighted guy and i need to wear my glasses. Does it have enough space inside the helmet fo me to wear glasses ?

              Asked by: HenryAndeson
Yes it should accommodate most prescription glasses as long as they are not too bulky. This can also be dependent on how the helmet fits to your head too. The helmet will be tight out the box but it will loosen up over time.

Can you fit an 2 way intercom system in this helmet?

              Asked by: Justin
You can, but you may have to use a sticky mount on the side of the helmet to mount it, since the helmet trim does not allow for a clamp to slide into the shell of the helmet. The helmet does however have speaker pockets and a flat space on the side of the helmet to mount a comms device.

I wanted to know the fitment on this helmet as the airmada in xl is to small for me. Has it got the same fitment must i go up to an XXL size?

              Asked by: Rhys
Icon is known to be a small fit. If you were a tight fit in the Airmada, you should most likely go a size up with the Airflite as well.
