Icon Domain Future Proof Helmet Item # 1504816

Description
A bleak future is more bearable when you have the right headgear for it. The Domain Future Proof Helmet is a cyberpunk vision of metal and tenacity, all wrapped up in a handcrafted, lightweight FRP shell for optimal strength and reduced weight. ICON's Intermediate Oval shape makes this a great fit for most riders, present or future. ECE22.06 certification and a zero-distortion, Fog-Free Domain™ shield launch this helmet into the future, whatever it might be like.
Exterior
- A blending of neo-retro styling and future proof tech, the Domain is the next step in ICON design. The helmet's ventilation system consists of a total of four intake vents, capable of flowing optimal amounts of cool air through the helmet and exiting through the large dorsal exhaust port. The sculpted neckline allows your head to slip on and off with ease while doubling as the access port for the integrated HelmLink™ Bluetooth® communicator. (sold separately)
Shield
- The oversized Fog-Free Domain™ shield increases peripheral vision and and produces an unmatched distortion free line of sight. Hot swap with the Domain Motoshield™ for that motocross inspired style.
Interior
- The removable sweat wicking Hydradry™ liner provides a snug and contoured fit. Air from the vents is channeled between the comfort liner and the protective, energy absorbing EPS foam liner to create a nearly perfect rider-focused interior. The airflow works in conjunction with the Hydradry™ liner to effectively reduce heat build up. Combine that with superior venting and a removable breath deflector which creates a nearly perfect rider-focused enclosure.

If you can get your head in, great helmet
Impossible to get the head in without tearing out the ears. Had to return it due to the fact that my ears were still soared after a week !

Awesome helmet, fits great... but..
Awesome premium helmet, I wear size 7 3/4 hats so I was a little worried about this one fitting properly in a size L but I was shocked when it fit my head almost perfectly (mind you your forehead will be a little sore until you break it in).
The only real downside as others have stated is that it fits a little TOO well and when you want to take it off it will very hurt your ears. So if you have a head that requires a size 7 1/2 to 7 3/4 hats then the L size will fit your nogging perfectly.
It's a head turner, I got back from a ride and I had sooooo many people look at it and some telling me it looks like venom lol. I don't regret the purchase, good luck!

Questions
Can the chin vents be closed? Or are they permanently open? Permanently open will 'water-board' you in the rain like my Lanesplitter does.
The chin vents can be opened or closed with a switch on the inside of the helmet.
