Great against the nasty vstrom buffetting
I bought this because I couldn’t stand the buffeting of the vstrom (2011 650abs)
After reading many reviews I decided to buy this windscreen from f9 and followed their site instructions chose my bike and looked up the options I had for windscreens. This one is by far the best one if you’re dealing with the wind buffeting. But for the second time F9 send me the wrong screen. The first time I bought a givi screen and it was not the right screen and then I bought this and again it is not the right screen. The bolt holes did not work out to be installed on the vstrom. The first time I called them and they charged me to return a screen that on my bill of sale clearly said 2011 vstrom and then the second screen I got from them I was a week away from our trip so I drilled 2 holes and made it fit my bike. I am not sure why F9 can’t get it right. Having said that the screen is tall if you need to hide behind in the rain etc and you can almost slide it down to the original vstrom hight if you don’t require the protection. The main benefit of the this screen is the 2 little ears in the bottom which almost completely eliminate the buffeting problem of the vstrom.
I went on a 2700km trip and I was more than impressed with this screen. As long as F9 send you the right one or you’re not scared of drilling a couple of extra holes in it, I would buy this again.

Kappa Sliding Windshield
A great improvement over stock plain, and the laminar flip style. At the top it keeps wind whistle out of (open face) helmet. Only 4 stars, I was hoping for it to be a little bigger, I have it as high as it goes. Perfect fit, easy install.

Good wind protection
Does a much better job than the stock one. I am happy with the result. However, the windshield mounting did not match my bike. I had to build custom brackets.

I like the adjustability of the top screen
I have a few good rides, it is much better then the stock one, however being 6 3” my head still sites a little to high, so I still get buffeting.
I’m still happy with the results !

Kappa Airstream
Mounted on 2012 V Strom 650 using centre mount location and windshield in lowest position. I am totally impressed with the results. Substantially better than the stock windshield. It is also nice to have option to totally remove the sliding portion for a sportier look I am 5‘8“ tall with 30 inch inseam.

Incredible difference
Just got this and installed on my 15' V-strom 650 and honestly I cant believe the difference. Read reviews saying it was better but honestly if you have a wee 12-16' and don't have this you are missing out! Cant believe I waiting so long to get one its honestly like riding a completely new bike. Im just over 5'11 and I cant have my visor open at 120km/h, the difference in comfort level is drastic. I live in Ontario ordered it on monday after work picked it up at the post office wednesday on my way home, well done FortNine!
