Chest protectors are nothing new, but one that offers coverage with no gaps in protection is. The Leatt 5.5 Pro HD chest protector raises the standard with overlapping panels that ensure your chest, back and sides are always shielded from impacts. Able to be worn with or without a neck brace, the CE certified 5.5 Pro HD also comes with 47 air vents built into its flexible panels. Motocross, enduro or dual sport, this Leatt chest protector can be worn over or under your jersey depending on your riding needs.

great piece of equipment, shoulders are not easily adjustable but can make mods to fit, overall feels like you have good protection.

Great product!
Bought this 6 weeks ago and worn it 5-6 times riding. Thought it would be bulky and awkward while riding but the comfort and design makes it almost unnoticeable. Has great protection, very happy with this Leatt product.

Shoulder pad straps are not very well secured
After a short period of time the material that holds the shoulder pad strap to the chest protector failed (poor set up by Leatt). Now the chest protector is only used as a vest. Too bad because with the shoulder pads the 5.5 Pro HD provides great protection.

Great quality
This chest protector is very comfortable and very good quality compared to others.It is a little heavy hence the great quality and complete protection it offers. This chest protector could double as a bullet proof vest. Very happy with my purchase.

Questions
I ride both street and dirt. Would I be able to use this for road riding, under a leather jacket, or should I buy road specific armour?
This could potentially be used under a leather jacket, but might be slightly too bulky for comfort.

I like the one I got , so chances are slim to none ,unless I lose this one , it is very comfortable !! ;-) , but that being said I will have to look into it !!
