Microshift Acolyte SpringLock Rear Derailleur

The heart of the Acolyte derailleur is the innovative SpringLock system. By pairing a customized linear rate high tension spring and a dual stage activation mechanism, Microshift developed a system that can provide substantial chain security when you need it and can be turned off when you don't. To engage the clutch, turn the engagement bolt clockwise until it clicks. There's no way to overtighten the bolt. To disengage the clutch for wheel removal, flip the switch. It's that simple.

Delivering full sized performance in a pint sized package, the Acolyte Super Short derailleur provides a full set of features for off road riding on a platform that's compatible with small wheel sizes down to 20". With the same Springlock chain retention and robust metal construction as the standard sized Acolyte, you can ride Super Short as hard as you want, no matter how tall you stand.
