Changing tires on rim
This is THE tire iron to get. I'm ordering another one. It reaches way deep past the rim and levers it over very easily. The shorter ones (of which I have two) can only act as placeholders for the bigger one. So buy two or three of these long ones and get your tire off the rim in minutes.

Great
Some people dont like these, for me I love it. Simplifies and makes the job easier. Nice and long, saves my knuckles. Shorter for on the road, nope, carry 2 of these and one other.

Glad to have this on hand.
Works well. I thought the job was pretty tough my 1st go around, but will get easier with practice.

I used it a few times and it works great. The long length makes removing a tire easy

Dumb design
It wasn't mentioned anywhere that the black colour of the tool is actually a kid of very, very abrasive powder coating. If you slip, even a few millimeters, your paint job is toasted!!!

Questions
Given the leverage these longer levers have any concerns with damaging the rim? I've used long levers ONCE and it was a disaster...dimpled the rim trying to get a stubborn bead over the rim. Not for amateurs!
Damaging the rim is always a worry when using tire levers. We strongly recommend using rim protectors whenever replacing tires. They can be found here: https://www.canadasmotorcycle.ca/motion-pro-rim-protectors.html
