Did the Job
Tool performed fine. I can see where it might be a bit weaker, but as long as you have some mechanical sympathy, it will do the job.
Tool broke 3 links in total, and as long as the rivet heads are filed down, it does the job. If it "feels" like too much effort is needed, remove the tool and file the head down more. There is a lot of force on the breaking pin, so don't force it.
The hardest thing about pressing the plates was keeping everything lined up. Tighten the tool about 1/2 turn, then check width of link with a caliper.
Flaring the rivets was easy as well. Make sure everything is lined up, tighten down a little bit, and check flare with calipers. Most are between .20"-.25"

Worked Great!
Bought this about a month ago, worked great. Does not feel sturdy enough to break a typical motorbike chain loose without grinding a pin, takes a lot of force even then. I used a dremel tool to grind down a rivet before using the tool.
The tool is a bit expensive for what it is.

I bought this a month ago, it worked well (only used once as yet) and will likely outlast the number of chains I'll need to change on my bike.

This tool is a one use only... The backplate and the anvil does not last at all very poorly made. Ruined my master link twice on my second chain job before I figured out what was going on. The anvil is pressed in and will pop out. DO NOT BUY! Invest in the jumbo tool or another heavy duty one

Fonctionne bien
j'ai remplacé 2 chaines avec , ça fait le travail. en contre partie je trouve que les levier / poignée des outils pourrait être plus long et plus costaud pour une utilisation plus facile

A Must Have for All Motorcycle Owners
Not only is this a must have for any motorcycle owner with a chain drive motorcycle (rivet links are ALWAYS safer than clip type), but also great for any DIYer fixing up old engines since it can be used on small engine cam chains as well. Worth every penny, high quality, used all the time

Break that chain!
All you want from a chainbreaker; It works! The best part of working on a motorcycle is that it takes you back to the first wrenching I ever did, as a kid, on a bike.
