Better but not a Great improvement
Purchased for a 2018 R1200 GSA. I'm 6'5" tall with 36" legs. The buffeting from the stock windshield was horrendous, especially with the duck bill on my Arai XD4 helmet.
The instructions are vague, but on line videos guided me through the process. You need to reuse the rubber grommets from the stock windshield. On the stock windshield these grommets are a tight fit, on the Puig windshield they are sloppy because the holes are about 2.0mm to big. It still works, but you have to question the quality.
Also added at the same time a windshield stabilizing bracket from another manufacturer as the Puig unit was on back order for another 3 months.
There is an improvement to the wind management, but I'm still catching air with my helmets duckbill, giving me that thrumming noise from the turbulence.
If you are shorter, I'm sure this would be fine, but for me it was a waste of money. I should have purchased an adjustable windshield spoiler instead as I know they work. I just wanted a clean look without a spoiler.
