Description
For long distance rides, Puig introduces the Touring series to minimize the windblast against the rider. These screens raise the windblast in several centimiters allowing the rider to keep a more comfortable position riding the motorcycle.
Manufacturated with acrylic of high impact of 3mm, resistent and durable. Rounded edge screen profile in 3mm from 2004 models, complying with the German TÜV regulations. It's not necessary to include a border.

Great Improvement
I bought this early in the riding season to address high wind noise at highway speeds. The standard wind deflector on the KTM 1290 Super Adventure R is fine for off road and speeds below 80 km/hr, but above that the wind noise is tiring and interferes with communications. The Puig touring windscreen almost completely solved the problem at highway speeds. I'm 6'-5" with a long torso so I catch a lot of wind. With this windscreen, I've been able to ride up to 130 km/hr with my visor up, WHEN there is no cross-wind. With a cross-wind it is still a big help but definitely not perfect. Haven't had any real issues with vibration or instability although on windy days there has been some oscillation/twisting but nothing of real concern. It is always in the fully raised position. I would definitely buy again. I was concerned it would be too big but not the case. Its extremely easy to install, takes a few minutes.
