Rated 5 out of 5 by from No more searching for neutral With engine upgrades, my stock clutch needed to be addressed as it was slipping at higher rpm. I had heard of Rekluse was making Harley clutches and looked into their product some more; I even phoned the manufacturer direct and spoke to one of the owners, who took the time to answer all my questions and gave me his direct email and phone number, in the event I had any questions if/when I bought one of their clutches. Good customer service like that seems more rare nowadays, so I was impressed with their thoroughness. I commute to work often, which is 250kms round trip, and I ride a lot of rush hour traffic; clutching all the time with a 1000 lbs bike gets tiresome real fast. Most clutch upgrades for higher HP also means a stiffer clutch lever, which I obviously didn't want to think about how my hand would feel in rush hour. So, the Rekluse capability of leaving the bike in first gear and only using throttle to take off had me only considering this upgrade. Prior, Rekluse had told me their clutch systems are rated for 130hp and 130tq, more than enough for my motor. I had set-up issues with the clutch I ordered from Fortnine, it turned out to be an older model and Rekluse had since updated the thickness of their friction plates. Upon completing their recommended 'break-in procedure', the clutch was smoking. I called the fellow at Rekluse that I spoke to months earlier and within the hour he had a replacement clutch being sent to me under warranty, with their newer and thicker friction plates. Great service from a reputable company! You do need to adjust your bike's free play gain, which may not match the instructions for initial set-up. Also, you will need to upgrade your Harley's clutch spring to a Screaming Eagle spring to make this clutch work properly. Not searching for neutral at traffic lights and ease of riding rush hour traffic are now solved and I wish I had bought this clutch years ago. Also, my transmission now easily drops gears with very minimal down pressure and without the traditional Harley clunking. In my opinion, this clutch is worth every penny.
