good looking shoe
its a good looking shoe, i like the design makes it very "casual looking" while offering some ankle protection
downside is for the price you pay, your not getting any more comfort than a regular pair of shoes at a 100$ price point, these got somewhat uncomfortable after a few hours of wear and walking

Basic shoes
I ended up returning them, but it's pretty basic shoes. There's no comfort at all. Sizes are just for lucky ones that don't have .5 in them.

Great looking and solidly built
Bought for commuting to replace some older Alpinestars in a similar style. Difference in stiffness is quite noticeable. These have much more 'backbone' to them, and cradle the feet much more snugly. This probably makes them more protective in a crash but I don't intend to test them. Super well ventilated and kept my feet nice and cool on the ride in. The stiffness meant I was fumbling to feel the foot controls a little more, and I bumped into the bodywork a bit. Wore them on the bike, and left them on at the office for a day and they were comfortable to wear. I really like the dark grey color and they look great with my jeans and jacket. They seem a little darker than the photos. FYI the sizing chart seems pretty true and the 43's fit my 10.5 feet snugly, if slightly narrow. I could probably have gone up a size

Are they water proof?
No, They are not.

Do they loosen up over time? Seem very stiff and tight in the width.
The will loosen up over time like any other shoes, however they are a "regular fit" so if you have a wider foot, they may be a bit narrow for you.
