                  Description

If safety wasn’t an issue, wouldn’t we rather all just hop on our bikes wearing our favorite pair of jeans, some sneakers, and a comfy hoody? Well, we’ve got some news. It actually isn’t an issue any longer. Not only do we offer premium-quality and ultra-comfy riding denim and sneakers, we bring you the double A rated (EN17092-3:2020 garment standard) Cedar hoody. What’s truly unique is that we’ve been able to develop a full-stretch, cut, tear and abrasion-resistant fabric that enables us to create casual fashion pieces that can perform at a level beyond what you would expect. With casual looks paired with incredible comfort and safety features, the Cedar is a 100% motorcycle-ready garment. It isn’t waterproof, but that’s not the point. This is about being able to wear something that looks like it was just picked casually from your wardrobe and that you’re going to wear all day long. Just because you can. And we know you will. The Cedar comes standard with the ultra-thin SEESMART™ impact protectors so you won’t even notice it’s in there, nor will anyone else. This is Personal Protective Equipment, or PPE, in disguise. Add the SEESOFT™ CE-level 2 insert back protector for additional protection and you’re wrapped in an impact energy absorbing blanket, er hoody. Fellow riders will look twice at what you’re wearing, and some might even question your sanity. But we know that you know better. This is not just a hoody. You’re good to go, anywhere, anytime.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not Up to Revit Standards I'll start by saying, I bought a size larger than I normally would, for that extra roomy hoody feel (went with XL); boy am I glad I did. I normally wear large, but don't think it would have fit if I bought it. I have quite a few Revit products (L in those), and this just does not live up to their standards. Yes, the hoody is super soft and stretchy, but the head opening is very small/tight (I wear a size SM helmet, I don't think I have a large noggin). It literally squeezes my head getting it off. The sleeve extended cuff/thumb loops do not look like the stitching will hold up well, and the stitching that is there tends to dig into your thumbs; some neoprene or soft fabric around the thumb holes would have been a nice touch. The armour in the shoulders tends to curl up, which might be because I went a size bigger but it feels like the pockets are almost too small for the armour. Seesmart armour still is the lightest, thinnest, and softest in the business, so no complaints there. Furthermore, the bottom elastic doesn't feel sewed in right, and sort of gives a scrunchy appearance. Maybe I got a dud, but this just doesn't feel up to the high standards I've come to expect from Revit, and definitely overpriced. I am going to keep it, because it is exactly the style I wanted, and beats putting a hoody over an existing Revit mesh jacket. Pros: - Soft and stretchy fabric - Seesmart is so light and thin, you don't notice it's there - Hoody style (if that's what you want, this is it) Cons: - Not great craftsmanship compared to other Revit products - Runs small - Small head opening - Overpriced

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Saved My Skin I bought this at the beginning of the season. I normally run a small shirt size, 5'6 158 lbs, however, it seems that most gear runs small regardless, so I bought a medium. Glad I did, it didn't fit as loose as I liked for a "hoodie style" but thank god it didn't, more on that later. It looked and felt great to wear and ride in. The hoodie/jacket wasn't overtly hot at 38c, but it wasn't comfortable. Anything over 20km/h and you weren't showering in sweat, so little airflow. The coldest I'd wear it, with a T-shirt underneath is 10c fall time, no sun and hazy. The sleeves come with little cuffs for your palms, such was nice in the fall before my accident. I wore Alpine SP-8 V3 gloves because protection, and swag, but it was easy enough to get the cuff over the sleeve. Only gripe is the little shoelaces do smack the side of your helmet at high speeds, or when its windy. The hood flaps a little bit at high speeds, and normally the back of the hoodie doesn't ride up from the wind... unless you're going faster than legal that is. As for protection, I had the padding it came with at the time of my accident. Side swiped a half-ton because I was cut off at 110km/h. Moderately dense traffic for a highway, probably hit the truck going 40-60 on my left side. No broken bones there, and the jacket held up fine during the slide. The jacket comes with two clips at the hips, those did not let go, and if you're very worried, you can get a zipper on the back (it comes with it) stitched to your pants. The bottom half didn't ride up at all, even as I rotated 360 around during my slide. Only superficial road rash from the impact, there was more than enough material after sliding, no skin showing. The reinforcement on the shoulders and elbows helped a lot, but ultimately walked away with only a broken hand. Wish the a pocket for a back brace but you can easily fit one underneath. Well... I could at least. I would recommend this if you want the look and comfort whilst riding. It is a bit of a hassle to get on and off, as it isn't as stretchy as most hoodies. I wouldn't recommend it for bigger guys, it has a fitted feel to it, unless you order a size or two larger. And, I had no issue with stitching coming loose or anything of the sort. I am very happily going to order a new one. Obviously there is jackets that can protect better but imo the jacket is Worth it. Ignore my poor grammar, I never was good with writing.
