Reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Versatile Jacket I’ve had this jacket for 3 years and I’m overall satisfied. I’ve worn it for sport touring, supermoto, dual sport and even on a snow bike. It’s worked well in all these applications. It’s quite warm with all its layers in place, but if you’re in conditions below 5C you’ll need thermal underwear or heated gear to keep warm. For summer riding with all the layers out and vents open it’s a comfortable jacket up to about 30C. At temperatures above I use a cooling vest which does the trick because this jacket vents so well. Making the transition of adding and removing layers in this jacket is a bit of a pain, but this is what makes this jacket suitable for just about any condition. The neck roll is comfy, the front vents can be opened while riding and it has enough pockets for me. I do use this jacket a bit. I probably average 20 thousand km per year and this jacket is starting to show some wear. The Velcro on the cuffs and front zipper flap are getting weak. Seams are starting to show wear in areas that rub, like under the arms. Also I have the off white version and I was concerned how clean it would stay. It will get dirty patches over time. Particularly if you use black leather gloves, they can leave marks. These will come clean with Oxyclean. I would pull the armour out and soak it in a basin and use the stain remover once or twice a season to keep it looking fresh. I’m satisfied with the jacket. It’s worked well for me. I wish it would have held up a bit better, but at the moment I’m considering upgrading to their Poseidon jacket to replace this one. I’m 6’3” 210lbs size XL (I wear a 56euro size for Alpinestars)
