Rated 3 out of 5 by from Feels solid, poor design Great jacket, terrible layering. I mail ordered, had I seen it first... The straps locating the elbow pads are great, shoulder pads feel great, optional back pad feels great. The whole jacket feels like quality other than the liners. The venting is acceptable for dual sport use but if single tracking it's no where close to armour and jersey for ventilation. As for fit, match your chest size to the European sizing. The bad, it's a 3 in one but they need to look at the North Face to see how a 3 in one is supposed to work. Actual zip in liners, not something that feels like it doesn't belong due to poor attachment. Comes with a rain layer and thermal layer. The rain layer attaches at sleeve end, collar and a snap at the top of the zip. The thermal layer same, collar, sleeves 2 more snaps further down. The rain and thermal layer should zip in or be skipped completely as they don't feel like part of the coat. The rain coat should be high vis and sold separately. Who wants strip down and take their coat apart at the road side to insert a rain layer in between the coat and thermal layer? While standing in the rain you just want to put on your rain layer over top and continue on. Why would you put a rain coat under your jacket while letting your outer layer get soaked anyway? Is it to try to look cool? In closing the jacket feels solid, skip the layers, include the back pad and I'd say it would be a decent value. If ordering make sure you get the correct matching size back pad. Felt good in the one tumble I've had so far.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Jacket but Pricey This jacket is a good improvement from the Sand 3. Warm in cold weather and flows much more air when it's hot. For the price it should have back armor included. My only real negative is the price, just nuts for what you get, but Klim is even worst. I'm 6' 175lbs and the large fits perfect. Even with all the layers I can still wear a sweatshirt.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Excellant jacket but needs inprovements I ordered this jacket back in September 2021 and used it for cooler weather riding, I live in northern Ontario and the jacket did very well. My first issue was the attachment of the interior liner, it should be a zipper design for attachment and not just plastic snaps. The interior rain guard liner does have a zipper attachment. Where they really need improvements is the main zipper, I have already lost a few teeth and find the teeth very brittle and easy to break off. For summer riding it has an excellent venting system, I give a thumbs up for that aspect of the jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hardcore Jacket A+++ I was worried about ordering this jacket as I don't fit well into europeon cut jackets. I relied on the sizing chart an ordered a size up and it was perfect. This jacket is extremely well built and the extra 2 inner layers make this jacket an all year jacket. I did order the rear back protector to go with this jacket and it was well worth it. You will not be disappointed in this purchase if you are an adventure bike rider.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable, warm, dry Bought this jacket and pants about a 6 weeks ago. Really nice, feels like it has excellent protection, and still maintains good mobility. Size wise, maybe a little in the small side. I'm 5'10, 165lb, got a medium and don't have much room for any additional layers of needed. Been riding on Vancouver Island in the "winter", and I'm comfortable at temps down to 2 degrees C, dry when it's raining, and on the few nice days we've been having it opens up/de-layers really well. Looking forward to how it will perform in the summer as well. Personal opinion and complaint: - Wrist cuffs would be better as a velcro closure with more adjustability. - the buttons at the cuff don't seem secured very well.. one of mine fully fell off when I undid it a could weeks ago.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great jacket, warm, but watch the sizing The jacket looks and fits great, although the sizing is not accurate. I am not a large guy, and I had to move up to the 3XL size to fit. I normally wear a 48 suit jacket. I was riding today at 4C, with a wind chill of -2C, and the jacket+liner combination was great! No issues at all. I wish it had more pockets, but that's just personal preference. The vents on the chest and arms work well when it goes above 20C. I'll be interested to see how the waterproof liner works; note that this liner fits OVER the jacket, not just underneath it, so you have an option of how to wear it. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice jacket but isn't wearing well Had this jacket for a while now and even it's my go-to jacket I do has issues with it. 1) stitching letting go in places 2) fabric wearing thru in high abrasion area 3) camo design badly faded even with repeated applications of uv protectant. Camo colour has faded to a reddy brown to nearly pink colour in places 4) neck collar fastener not long enough to snap in place with my neck size.
