Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable, good looking, but... I bought this looking forward to using the internal liner as a waterproof and windproof layer against the colder weather we have coming. The liner did do its job perfectly (there were actually moments where it was too warm for me), but I found a couple of problems that made me return the jacket. However, on my first use of the jacket with the liner underneath, 2 of the loops that secure the liner in the jacket unglued themselves. Yeah, that's right, the loops are glued to the liner, instead of being sewn in. Maybe that's in order to maintain its waterproofness, but what good is that if they won't last a single use? You can see pictures of it attached below. One other problem with the liner is that, when it actually got a bit warmer and I started sweating, taking the jacket off was quite the challenge, as the liner's internal material seems to get stuck to my skin (imagine a plastic bag over a wet arm). Maybe they should use an internal material that doesn't do that. In any case, this problem on its own wouldn't make me return the jacket, the unglued loops did. I hear Revit makes good quality gear and I actually have another jacket from them that I like, so maybe I got a defective product, which is a shame, because I really liked it and the liner's performance. In any case, I expected more from such a pricey jacket. Not to mention that it doesn't come with a back protector, even at this price! I would say I'd recommend this product if you don't mind these issues, as it seems to protect well against bruises and the weather. But maybe wait for its price to go down so it makes up for the lack of the back protector?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far I like it, I purchased this jacked over the winter and finally got out for a ride so this is based on my initial thoughts. The weather was overcast and around 13 C (55.4 F). I had the liner in and it kept me quite warm. The wind was strong enough to push me around but nothing through the liner. I found the sleeve zipper the perfect length to easily get my gauntlet gloves tucked in and jacket zipped over the top. I am small framed and the small fits well, I was worried it might be a bit loose but I think the back protector tightened it up just enough. The adjustment straps worked as expected, looking forward to see how it works with the liner removed, when it warms up I will try and post another review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thought I'd throw up some fitment info after my recent purchase. I'm: 6'0" 165 lbs Slim Build, Longer Legs, Shorter Torso than the average person my height. Chest - 38.2in Waist - 35in I put the size Large "Alpinestars Nucleon Flex Pro Ci Chest Protector" in the chest, which offers better protection than the Rev'It brand one, is more flexible/comfortable, and is cheaper. The size large is just slightly too large vertically. I had to cut off the top and bottom "edge" rubber stuff, but didn't have to cut off any of the actual honeycomb part. I would go with size large chest protector again, because it fits like a glove after a little trimming and it doesn't seem like the protection was compromised. I also added the Rev'It brand back protector for full CE Level 2 protection. I got a size Medium, which is what the size chart says I should get. Overall, medium was the right choice, and the fit is pretty good. It could be a bit more tapered around the waist for my build, and, even with my short torso, I wish it was longer. If I could customize it, I'd probably take an inch out of the waist and make it 1.5" longer. It's quite comfy and all of the padding sits really nicely and feels like it'd protect really well. I bought it primarily for riding/jumping EUCs on and off-road. I'm expecting it's inevitable I will take a few slides across dirt/pavement at 30MPH eventually, so protection is really important. I also really like that the sleeves unzip, which lets me get my wrist sliders on, which is pretty much a requirement for EUC riding. I did a lot of research before buying, and didn't see anything that came close for the price. Not easy to find something that works in winter/summer + has level 2 protection for chest/shoulders/back/elbows. Hope this helps someone!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great jacket. I bought it because of the excellent airflow for the summer as well as having a waterproof insulated liner. With the liner, this jacket works well during the winter on Vancouver Island. I can ride in 5 degree weather with only a t-shirt underneath and I’m happy during my commute. I’m also dry when it’s raining! The liner would NOT be good be the summer. I haven’t used it in hot weather yet but without the liner I can’t see it being a problem, it’s well ventilated with the amount of mesh. I upgraded it with the revit back armour and it’s still comfortable. The only problem I’ve had with it is the anchor point for the collar ripped off first time taking off the jacket. I sewed it back on but that was annoying! I am normally a large and I needed an XL so it fits small.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very impressed After one season of riding with a secondhand jacket, I decided it was time for me to invest in a great new jacket. I'm 5'5, 135 lbs and I went with the size 40. It fits perfectly, shoulders, elbows, back, everything is at the right place. It's very comfortable and still has space to wear a mid layer underneath. My first ride with it was in cold spring weather and not an ounce of wind went through with the windbreaker layer underneath. Needless to say, I was super impressed. I'm very happy with my purchase and can't wait to test it in warmer weather.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect 3-4 Season gear. I purchased this gear mid season and it performed really well in the high 30’s with excellent venting and also in single digit temperatures with the liners. Great features and easy to use with gloves on and riding. Quality finishing, zippers, pockets etc. Not cheap but really worth and good value. The jacket should include the back protector - this is the only negative.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent for spring summer and fall Love this jacket. As it’s great for all seasons. Don’t get me wrong I don’t ride below 12-15C, any thing above that it’s great. The inner liner is removable during hotter day and definitely keeps you work on cooler rides. Lots of protection and fit is perfect. 5”11 175-180 and large is perfect fit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid mesh jacket Happy with the jacket so far. Without the liner, the jacket is in it's prime from 20 to 30 Celsius. The waterproof liner does not breathe, so it can get hot pretty quick. I don't use the liner often because of this. A bit shorter of a cut at the bottom than I would prefer, but I am above avg. height. Definitely size up as I usually wear a L/XL, but I got a XXL in this and it didn't leave a ton of space. Comfortable and seems durable.

                  Questions

Without the inside liner during the summer , does the jacket absorb a lot of water during a rain storm?

                  Asked by: dh20
It designed to let air through, so it lets rain. I have been trough some light showers , never rain storm and it dries very fast. When I take it out of the washing machine it’s almost dry already.  Going through a rain storm, without the inner liner, the jacket would not be my greatest concerne.  Everything else I am wearing would be soaked for sure. Down to my boots.  But the jacket would dry fast.

Cet ensemble d'instructions précède toutes les autres instructions qui pourraient être données. Si vous ne savez pas comment entretenir correctement votre équipement, vérifiez l'étiquette intérieure.
