Saddlemen Original Comfort Pads with SaddleGel™ offer easy, portable comfort. These pads are the perfect accessory for long rides and make small, hard seats much more comfortable - just the ticket for stylish seats that leave you short in the comfort department. All pads can be used with either the supplied harness system or by simply setting the pad atop the vehicle seat while the non-slip bottom will hold it in place while you sit comfortably above. The quick-disconnect harness system mounts over the seat and keeps the pad in place even without a rider present. The harness remains in place when pad is removed. SaddleGel™ Pad Dimensions:
- Medium: 9" L x 7.5" rear width x 5.5" front width
The medium is perfect for the buddy seat of most sport bikes, dual sport bikes, and the smaller passenger pillions of cruiser and adventure bikes. - Large: 10" L x 13.5" rear width x 7.5" front width
The large is well suited to the front or the rider portion of most non-touring Harleys and other cruisers such as the VTX, Shadow, Magna, Vulcan, Intruder, and VStar; the GS, Tenere and Tiger adventure bikes; the ST. Worked great for the price.
Probably added 4 hours of comfortable riding to my day-long trips. Mounting was a little annoying, but maybe all gel seats use the strap. Oh well, it only took 3 minutes.

Probably work better on other saddles.
I bought this for back seat of my VFR but wife doesn't really like it. Says she can feel the edge of it as its much narrower than the seat. So we need a wider one for the VFR. This one will probably work great for me on my CRF250L though.

Does not live up to sales recommendations
Unefortunatly this does not live up to the comme ts and reviews
Once the gel pad seat flatens out approx 30 to 40 mins of ridong , the 'butt' pain returns same as without the pad
This is made for VERY light weight people , as i would guess anyone over 150 lbs will have the same issues but at my weight 275 lbs there is no confort advantage

I bought this for my wife who rides as a passenger and found the original seat uncomfortable. She likes the cushioning as well as the extra height.
I gave it a four because the strap could be more user friendly, all it would need is a loop on one end and a snap connection.

its comfy but...
Its comfortable but the little tiny strip of velcro that is holding it in place is incredibly flimsy. Until I can find a better way to attach it to the bike its not going on the bike.

Perfect fit
Bought it a month ago for my passenger seat on my 2016 Fat Boy S. My wife loves it and is able to ride all day now without getting sore. The seat is not the original but a Harley fat boy add on seat.

Should have gotten a larger Size.
I took the seat pad on a long trip from Nfld to Ottawa. I fould that I could have used the next size up for my 02 HD FXD. I was more comfortable when I did not use it.

Don't Waste Your Money
I bought this to use on a KLR 650 on a trip to Alaska. I used it for the first hour and then just packed it along for the next 7500 kms. It made the seat far more uncomfortable. I regret purchasing this item.
