Difficult to install
I received this item a few days ago and proceeded to install/mount it on my Goldwing antenna. The quality of the item is excellent but the instructions furnished with it, for the installation, leave a long way to be better than they are at the present time. Show Chrome should realized that a good picture/photo is worth a .... thousand words and at least 4 or 5 good photos should be furnished for the installation process. Also a How to install video should be mandatory with this item. It took me the better part of an hour to install it and I came pretty close to damaging permanently my existing antenna. Having myself, all alone, in the past modified a 180hp Lycoming engine with new Lycon pistons and installing a performance crankshaft to increase the performance of my experimental Pitts S1S aerobatic biplane, I do consider myself with a higher than normal mechanical aptitude. I was very disappointed with the difficulties associated with this item. I would not consider buying this item again.

Poor Design
I bought this a few months ago and installed it on my Gold Wing when I brought her out of storage for the riding season.
A bit tricky to install, but we took the time to install it exactly to the instructions.
Problem is that it won’t stay tight. The wind loosens the mount to the antenna.
More trouble than it’s worth so I took it off today. I wish I could send it back to Fortnine in exchange for a different design.
